Who We Are
Ian Fry |
Ian started in the I.T. Industry in 1969, and formed Fry Systems in 1989. He is an active member of ADNUG (Adelaide Dot Net User Group), Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence, and plays a key role with the Gurteen Knowledge Cafe - Adelaide Prior to forming Fry Systems, Ian's career covered all facets of computing, principally as a Manager and Systems Analyst across the Public Sector (with a significant time in Health) and the Textile, Engineering and Construction sectors. Ian acts as Project Manager and Architect on projects. He also directs development, supervises associated staff, and takes direct responsibility for some tools. Jocelyn Fry |
Jocelyn has a B.A., plus Post-Graduate Diplomas in both Education and Library and Information Studies. She had a successful career as a Secondary Teacher, later becoming a Librarian, and responsible for innovative Children's programs including Toy Libraries for which she won the 2005 Crawford award for Innovation in Public Libraries. She is an experienced Reference Librarian, and Public trainer in Internet use. Jocelyn provides oversight of the Testing Regime, User Interface and Training aspects of Fry Systems projects, to ensure that tools are used correctly and well. As Knowledge Manager, she plays an important role in the Client's implementation of the solution. She has prepared the E-Books, and Help sections of the LMI Group Projects. Caitlin Fry |
Caitlin has a B. Psych and a B.A (Hons) and is currently preparing a Ph.D She lectures in the School of Communication, Information and New Media, works as a Professional Writer on assignments in the Private sector, and was a guest speaker at the 2005 Young Writers' Festival on the subject. Her current role is to provide Professional Writing Services to projects, and to provide overview and Quality Control on the output produced by our tools and projects.
